Have you ever stared down the future and wondered what it had in store for you and your loved ones? That's where we are right now. An aging parent is slipping into decline while a teenager is graduating high school and getting ready to face the world. Our own health seems to be getting a bit more precarious and new opportunities for advancement are popping up. Opportunities we never thought we'd ever have. And we wonder, are we going to be able to take advantage of them and still keep family life afloat? We will be singing at Gospel Music Fanfare in Somerset, KY next weekend. By far the biggest stage we have ever set foot on. It's a wonderful opportunity for us to sing our message to a wider audience in hopes that people will like our music enough to ask us to their church or event to sing. Yet it seems the whole world is conspiring to keep us from going and doing the very thing we've always wanted to do. It's like the opportunity came too late in life for us to take full advantage. Yet we know that God has His own time and His own plan. Things happen when they do for a reason and it's usually much more perfectly aligned than anything humans can do. So despite our own questions about how we are going to do this or why we are facing the challenges we are facing, we choose to trust God has it under control and will make a way for us to do what He set before us to do. So friends I ask that you pray for us this next week. Pray we stay strong and travel safely to and from Kentucky. Pray that we always keep in mind why we are doing what we are doing and that we do it well in honor of the Master. Until next time, God bless and keep you always...in Christian love,
The Fowler Family
